The studio

Inside the studio, briefly.

The studio is in the Monticello neighborhood of San Antonio. The practice is hand-built ceramics in stoneware and porcelain, finished with vintage glazes. The working principle is Shouganai, a Japanese word that means “it cannot be helped” and carries a particular discipline: go with what the material and the fire decide, and move forward.
